The CipherPoint Eclipse data security platform includes a centralized security policy manager and the ability to enforce policies using software agents, Cloud security gateways, and APIs. The platforms provides data discovery, automated data classification, transparent data encryption at rest and in use, role-based and attribute-based access control, and real-time activity logging.
CipherPoint Software was acquired by Covata in 2017 which rebranded as Cipherpoint in 2019. Cipherpoint acquired Excite IT in 2022 and now operates under the brand Excite Cyber.
